Important: Upsells Only Work with the Checkout Offers Checkout
The upsell feature only works when you're using the Offers checkout in the Create Your Offer section. If you're using a different type of checkout, like a funnel, upsells won't appear.
What do I need to set up first?
Before adding an upsell, make sure you have your course checkout ready, at least one offer created, your course uploaded, and Stripe connected to accept payments.
How long will it take?
Setting up an upsell usually takes around 5–10 minutes, depending on how much personalisation you want to add.
Step 1: Go to the Courses Area
From your FEA Create dashboard, head to Create Your Offer > Courses > Offers.
Step 2: Open the Offer You Want to Add an Upsell To
Click onto the offer you’ve created. On the left-hand side, select Upsell, then click Add Upsell.
Step 3: Choose Your Upsell Type
You have two friendly options:
One-click upsell: After purchase, students see another course they can grab with just one click.
In-app upsell: Shows another course while students browse their course library.
Step 4: Create a One-Click Upsell
Pick the offer you want to upsell. You can personalise the checkout page with a friendly message, a video, and a “No thanks” button. Preview it, then select Activate and Save.
Step 5: Create an In-App Upsell
Click Add Upsell Offer under the in-app section. Personalise the title, description, instructor info, and colours. Preview it, set the upsell to Active, then click Save.
Once everything is set up, your upsells will appear to students either after purchase or while they browse their course library, giving them extra value and keeping their learning journey flowing.
