How to Set Up Your Blog in FEA Create

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to set up your blog template, customize your blog homepage, connect it to your website, and publish your first blog post.

What Do You Need Before You Set This Up?
Before creating your blog inside FEA Create, make sure your domain is already set up.
You’ll also want:
Your branding
Blog images
Content topics
Lead generation funnel
prepared before building your blog.
Step 1: Open the Blog Section
Inside FEA Create:
Go to Websites & Funnels
Click Blogs
Here you’ll see your blog templates and blog settings.
Step 2: Open the Blog Template
FEA Create includes beautiful blog templates designed by Team FEA.
To get started:
Select your blog template
Open the editor
From here, you can fully customize your blog homepage.
Step 3: Customize Your Blog Homepage
Inside the blog editor, you can customize:
Your navigation menu
Header image
Fonts
Colours
Quotes
Call-to-action sections
Blog layout
You can change the top background image by clicking:
The three dots
Then updating the background image
Step 4: Update Your Navigation Menu
Your blog menu does not automatically pull from your website menu.
You’ll need to manually connect your pages.
To do this:
Click the menu element
Edit each menu item
Select Go To Website URL
Paste your website page URL
Include the full HTTPS link
Click submit
Repeat this for:
Home page
About page
Contact page
Services page
An easy way to do this is by copying the URLs directly from your website pages.
Step 5: Customize Your Blog Layout
The blog element gives you different display styles for your blog posts.
You can choose:
Two-column layouts
Compact layouts
Different card styles
Different spacing options
You can also customize:
Fonts
Background colours
Tag colours
Text styles
Spacing
This controls how your blog homepage looks when visitors browse your posts.
Step 6: Add a Call-to-Action Section
The template includes a call-to-action section to help grow your email list.
This is where you can invite visitors to:
Download a freebie
Join your email list
Sign up for a workshop
Visit your lead generation funnel
To connect your button:
Click the button
Scroll to the bottom settings
Add your lead generation funnel URL
Include HTTPS in the link
You can also customize:
Background image
Text
Button styling
Images
Step 7: Customize Your Blog Post Template
Next, open the blog post page template.
This controls the design of your individual blog posts.
Here you can customize:
Header image
Quotes
Post layout
Footer
Call-to-action sections
Blog styling
This is the page readers will see when they click into a blog post.
Step 8: Publish Your Blog
Once your homepage and blog post template are ready:
Click Save
Click Publish
Your blog homepage will now generate a blog URL.
Step 9: Connect Your Blog to Your Website
To add your blog to your website navigation:
Go to your website editor
Open the menu element
Edit the Blog menu item
Select Go To Website URL
Paste your blog homepage URL
Click submit
Save and publish
Your blog is now connected to your website.
Step 10: Configure Your Blog Settings
Inside your blog settings, you can also:
Update your blog URL
Add your favicon
Add tracking codes
Add your chat widget
If your domain is already connected, select your domain from the settings.
Be sure to select the version without “www” if needed.
Step 11: Create Your First Blog Post
To create a post:
Open your blog
Click New Post
You’ll then add:
Blog title
Cover image
Alt text
Blog description
What Is Alt Text?
Alt text helps with SEO by telling Google what your image is about.
This helps search engines understand:
Your content
Your keywords
Your blog topic
Try to describe the image naturally while including keywords related to the post.
Add Your Blog Description
Your blog description appears in search engine previews underneath your title.
This should be:
Short
Clear
SEO friendly
You can even use the first couple of sentences from your blog post.
Step 12: Write Your Blog Post
Once you click Create Post, you’ll enter the blog editor.
Inside the editor, you can:
Add headings
Add paragraphs
Use bold text
Add bullet points
Create numbered lists
Add images
Add videos
Add audio files
Embed YouTube videos
Add podcast embeds
Add custom code
The editor works very similarly to other blog platforms.
