With this template, you’ll be able to easily publish blog posts that attract new visitors, share your expertise, and grow your audience over time. Whether you’re writing tutorials, sharing insights, or creating helpful content for your community, this blog gives you a beautiful space to showcase your ideas and connect with your readers.
What You’ll Be Setting Up
The blog template integrates seamlessly with your one-page website and shop so you can:
Publish SEO-friendly blog posts
Organize posts with categories
Feature your best content
Add lead capture forms to grow your email list
Embed images, videos, and links
Schedule posts in advance
Your blog layout and design are already created for you. All you need to do is add your posts and customize a few sections.
Step 1: Access the Blog Area
To start using your blog:
Go to your FEA Create Dashboard
Click Websites & Funnels
Select Blogs
From here you will see the blog themes connected to your website.
Simply select the theme that matches the one you are using for your website.
Once selected, your blog site will already be set up and ready to go. All you need to do is start creating posts.
Step 2: Create Your First Blog Post
To create a blog post:
Click New Post
This will open the Blog Editor
From here you can begin building your article.
Add Your Blog Title
At the top of the editor, enter the title of your blog post.
You can also use Carrie AI prompts to help generate blog content or assist with writing.
Step 3: Format Your Blog Content
Inside the editor, you can add and format your content in multiple ways.
Add Text and Headings
Write your blog content directly in the editor.
To add headings:
Highlight the text
Click the Paragraph dropdown
Select a Heading style
Headings help structure your content and allow the system to automatically generate a table of contents.
Add a Table of Contents
You can insert a table of contents block which automatically pulls from your headings.
This makes it easier for readers to navigate longer articles.
Add Images
To insert an image:
Click the Image icon
Choose an image from your Media Storage
Add Alt Text describing the image
Click Insert Image
Alt text helps with SEO and accessibility.
You can adjust image size and placement inside the editor.
Add Additional Content Blocks
The editor also allows you to add:
FAQ sections
Checklists
Numbered lists
Bullet lists
Links to other pages
Videos
Quotes
Emojis
Page dividers
Custom embed code
This allows you to create engaging and well-structured blog content.
Step 4: Save and Publish Your Blog Post
Once your blog content is complete:
Click Save
Click Continue
You will then have several publishing options:
Save as Draft
Publish Immediately
Schedule for a Future Date
Backdate a Post
Scheduling posts is a great way to stay consistent with your blog content.
Step 5: Configure Blog Settings
Before publishing your blog post, there are a few settings to complete.
URL Slug
The URL slug is the ending part of your blog URL.
Example:
yourwebsite.com/blog/your-post-title
Make sure your slug includes keywords related to your topic.
Categories
Categories help organize your blog posts.
To add a category:
Select an existing category
Or create a new one
These categories appear above your blog posts and help readers navigate your content.
Author Profile
You can assign an author to each blog post.
To create an author:
Click the + icon
Add:
Name
Profile photo
Short bio
Social media links
Your author profile will appear on your blog posts and at the bottom of each article.
Keywords
Add keywords related to your blog post.
Press Enter after each keyword to add multiple keywords.
Step 6: Add SEO Details
For better visibility in search engines, you’ll also want to complete your SEO settings.
Blog Title
Enter the SEO title for your post.
Cover Image
Upload a cover image for your blog.
This image will appear:
At the top of your blog post
As the preview image on the blog homepage
Be sure to add Alt Text for SEO.
Blog Description
Write a short post description that summarizes your article.
You can also use Carrie AI to help generate this description.
Step 7: Edit Your Blog Homepage
Once you have created posts, you can customize the Blog Homepage.
To do this:
Click Edit Blog Site
There are two main pages you will edit:
Blog Homepage
Individual Blog Post Page
Set Up Your Header Menu
The header menu needs to be configured so it links back to your website.
To set this up:
Click the menu items
Under Button Actions, select Website URL
Paste the correct page link from your website
Make sure the full URL includes:
https://
Repeat this for all menu items.
Choose Your Featured Blog Post
The blog template includes a Featured Post section.
This allows you to highlight your most important or newest article.
To set it:
Click the Featured Post block
Select the blog post you want to feature
This post will always appear at the top of your blog.
Set Blog Categories and Search
Your blog homepage includes:
Category filters
A search bar
You can customize these sections and select which categories appear.
Edit the Blog List Section
Below the featured post is your blog feed.
Inside the editor you may see demo content, but this will automatically display your real blog posts once published.
You can customize the layout and styling of this section.
Step 8: Add Your Email List Signup
The blog template includes a section where visitors can join your VIP list.
To set this up:
Add your email signup form
Connect it to your lead capture workflow
This helps turn blog readers into subscribers.
Step 9: Customize Your Footer
At the bottom of your blog pages, customize:
Your website name
Social media links
Privacy policy link
Terms and conditions link
This should match the footer used on your main website.
Step 10: Edit the Individual Blog Post Page
The individual blog post template also needs a few updates.
Just like the homepage, you should:
Set the header menu
Link the navigation back to your website
Add your VIP list signup form
Customize the footer
You can also customize the button that links back to your blog homepage.
Final Step: Save and Publish
Once everything is set up:
Click Save
Click Publish
Your blog will now be live.
