Your client portal is made up of different apps, like Courses, Communities and Appointments. You can choose exactly which ones your clients see, so their portal only shows what's relevant to them.
In the same place, you can also choose how your clients log in and which page they land on first.
Step 1: Open your App Permissions
In FEA Create, go to Create Your Offer, then Client Portal.
Click on Settings.
Select App Permissions.
Step 2: Choose which apps to show
Under Enable child apps for your Client Portal, tick the box next to each app you'd like your clients to see. Any app you leave unticked stays hidden, even if your client has access to it.
Communities. Your community groups.
Courses. Every course your client is enrolled in.
Affiliates. Your client's affiliate dashboard, if they promote your offers.
Billing & Subscription. Invoices, payments and subscriptions.
Contracts. Signed and pending documents.
Estimates (new!) Any estimates you've sent your client.
Shared Files (new!) Documents you've shared with your client, and files they upload for you.
Appointments (new!) Lets clients book and manage calls with you.
Loyalty (Coming soon) Lets clients see their loyalty and referral rewards, like the points they've earned and the rewards they can claim.
Step 3: Choose how your clients log in
Scroll down to Sign-up & login methods. Here you can choose:
Allow Google sign-up & login. Turn this on to let clients sign up or log in with their Google account. Turn it off to hide the Google button on your sign-up and login pages.
Ask clients to create a password. When this is on, clients who log in for the first time with an email code or magic link are asked to set a password. This only happens once, and clients who use Google aren't asked.
Default login screen. Choose which screen your clients see first when they open your login page, such as Log in with password.
Step 4: Set a default landing page
Under Select default landing page, choose where your clients land when they log in. Home takes them to their dashboard, or you can send them straight to an app like Courses or Communities.
When you're happy with everything, click Save Settings.
Good to know: Turning an app off doesn't delete anything. Your courses, communities and appointments are all still there, and you can switch an app back on at any time. If a client can't see a change straight away, ask them to refresh the page or log out and back in.
Following these steps will help you create a clean, simple portal that's personalised to your business and your clients.
