What do I need to do first?
Before you set up your automation, make sure you have:
Your community group already created in FEA Create.
Your email template set up for notifying new members (optional but recommended for a branded touch).

Setting up this automation should take around 10 minutes if you have your group and forms ready.
Steps to Automatically Give Members Access to Your Community Group
Step 1: Go to Automations
Head to Automations in FEA Create and click Create Workflow. Choose Start from Scratch.
Step 2: Choose Your Trigger
For a paid group, select Order Submitted as your trigger.
For a free group, select Form Submitted. This ensures your workflow starts as soon as someone completes the required action.
Step 3: Add the Action
Click the plus icon to add an action.
Choose Grant Group Access and select the group you want new members to join.
Step 4: Customize Your Notification Email
Once access is granted, FEA Create will automatically send an email. To customize it:
Go to Create Your Offer > Client Portal > Settings > Email Settings.
Find the Communities section.
Click Default Template. Here you can edit the Joined the Group (User) email template with your branding. Keep the custom values (the double brackets) intact so all links and information pull through correctly.
Step 5: Publish Your Workflow
Once you're happy with the email, head back to the Automation and Publish it so that it becomes active. Every time someone submits the form or purchases your membership, they will automatically receive access and the email notification.
How can I test this?
Create a test order or submit the form yourself. Check that:
You are granted access to the correct group.
The email is sent and displays correctly with your branding and working links.
