How to Go Live in Your Course

Learn how to set up and run a live session inside your FEA Create course so you can engage with your members in real time.

Going live inside your course is a powerful way to connect with your members in real time.

Before you begin, make sure you already have a published course with members added, as live sessions only work once your course is live and accessible.

How this can support you and your members

Going live inside your course can help you:

  • Create a stronger connection with your members

  • Make your course feel more engaging and interactive

  • Answer questions in real time

  • Host live teaching or accountability sessions

  • Share updates and support your community as they work through your content

Step 1: Open your course

Go to Create Your Offer > Courses > Products and select the course you want to go live in.

Step 2: Add a live session

Once you are inside your course, click Add Live Course Session. A pop up will open where you can set up your session details.

Step 3: Add session details

Enter the following information:

  • Session name (for example: Friday Live Session)

  • Description (for example: what you will cover in the session)

  • Thumbnail image to make the session visually appealing

  • Host name

When you are done, click Next.

Step 4: Schedule your live session

Choose when your session will take place by selecting:

  • Date

  • Time

You can also choose to make it a recurring session, for example every Friday.

Click Next to continue.

Step 5: Set notifications and reminders

Choose how your learners will be notified:

  • Notify learners about the upcoming session

  • Notify learners when the session goes live

  • Set reminder messages, such as one day before the session

Once set, click Create.

Step 6: Manage your live session

Your session will now appear in your course. Please note, the session will not be available to open until 15 minutes before it starts.

From here you can:

  • Edit the session details

  • Add it to your calendar

  • Cancel the session if needed

Step 7: Go live

When it is time, click Go Live. This will open a new window.

You will need to:

  • Allow camera and microphone access in your browser

  • Click Join Session once permissions are approved

Step 8: During your live session

Once you are inside the session, you can:

  • Chat with members

  • Share your screen

  • Run your live session as planned

All sessions are automatically recorded so you can access them afterwards.

Step 9: End your session

When you are finished, click End Session and confirm by selecting End meeting for all.

Step 10: Access your recording

After your session ends, go to Live Sessions > Recordings inside your course.

Here you can:

  • Watch the recording

  • Download it to your computer

  • Add it to a lesson inside your course

And that is everything you need to go live inside your FEA Create course and connect with your members in real time.
