If you've bought or transferred your domain into FEA Create, you can create a subdomain and connect it to your Base44 app.
A subdomain is an additional web address that sits under your main domain. For example, if your website is yourbusiness.com, you could create a subdomain such as app.yourbusiness.com or members.yourbusiness.com for your Base44 app.
This guide shows you how to create that subdomain in FEA Create and point it to Base44. Your main domain will stay exactly as it is.
Before You Start
This guide is only for members whose domain is managed in FEA Create because they've bought or transferred their domain over.
If your domain is managed by another provider, you'll need to update your DNS settings with that provider instead.
Step 1: Open Your Domain Settings
Log in to FEA Create.
Go to Settings.
Select Domains & URL Redirects.
Find the domain you want to use.
Click Manage.
Step 2: Open Your DNS Records
Step 3: Create Your Base44 Subdomain
Choose CNAME as the record type.
In the Name field, enter the name you'd like to use for your Base44 subdomain.
For example: Entering yogastudio will create:
3. Click Save.
Step 4: Verify Your Subdomain in Base44
Return to Base44 and verify your custom domain.
It may take a little time for your new subdomain to become available. In many cases, this happens within a few minutes, but it can take up to 24 hours for DNS changes to update worldwide.
Example CNAME Record
Setting | Value |
Record Type | CNAME |
Name | yogastudio |
Value | base44.onrender.com |
Tip: You can replace yogastudio with any name you like, such as members, portal, or dashboard. This will become the web address your visitors use to access your Base44 app, for example members.yourbusiness.com.
