You can let your readers leave comments on your blog posts, helping you connect with your audience and encourage conversations around your content. 💕
Follow the steps below to add a comments section to your blog posts and manage the comments you receive.
Step 1. Open Your Blog Editor
Go to Websites & Funnels and select Blogs.
Find your blog site and click Edit Blog Site on the right-hand side.
This will open your blog editor.
Step 2. Add the Comments Section
At the top of the editor, click Blog Home.
Select Blog Post to open your blog post page.
Click the + icon in the top-left corner.
Select Elements, then find the Comments section under Blog.
Click and drag the Comments element onto your page, placing it underneath the Blog Post element.
Your comments section will now appear on your blog post page!
You can customise the appearance, including the fonts and text sizes. Readers can also add images and emojis to their comments.
Step 3. Save and Publish Your Changes
Once you're happy with how your comments section looks, click Save and then Publish.
Your readers will now be able to leave comments on your blog posts. 🎉
Step 4. Manage Your Comments
When you leave the blog editor, you'll see a new Comments section.
This is where you can view and manage comments left on your blog posts, including any comments waiting for approval.
Choose Your Comment Settings
Go to the Comments section.
Click the cog icon next to the All and Published tabs to open your comment settings.
Choose the settings that work best for you.
Here's what you can control:
Require Approval: This is turned on by default, meaning you can review comments before they appear on your blog. We recommend keeping this switched on to help prevent spam comments.
Email Notifications: Turn this on if you'd like to receive an email whenever someone comments on your blog post.
Apply to All Blog Sites: Use this option if you'd like to apply your comment settings to all your blog sites.
That's it! You're all set to start receiving comments on your blog posts. ✨
