Adding your business and profile settings

The first step to setting up FEA Create is adding your business and profile settings area to help you set up things such as your currency, information for your invoices, your business name, and personalize your FEA Create account.

Your dashboard settings inside FEA Create are what help personalize your account and power many of the features across the platform.

This is where you’ll set up:

  • Your business details

  • Branding

  • Calendar settings

  • Email settings

  • Time zone

  • Currency

  • Availability

  • Integrations

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to properly set up your business profile and personal settings inside FEA Create.

Why Your Dashboard Settings Matter

Your dashboard settings affect many areas across the platform, including:

  • Booking calendars

  • Email marketing

  • Contracts and invoices

  • Funnels and forms

  • Automated emails

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Communication settings

Taking a few minutes to properly set this up now will create a much smoother experience later on.

Step 1: Open Your Settings

Inside FEA Create:

  1. Go to the bottom left corner

  2. Click Settings

This will open:

  • Your Business Profile

  • Your Personal Profile

Business Profile vs Personal Profile

Inside the settings area, there are two important sections.

Business Profile

This controls:

  • Your business information

  • Branding

  • Company settings

  • Business defaults

Personal Profile

This controls:

  • Your personal login details

  • Calendar settings

  • Availability

  • Connected inboxes

  • User preferences

Step 2: Set Up Your Business Profile

Inside the Business Profile section, you can add:

  • Business name

  • Business logo

  • Business address

  • Country

  • Currency

  • Time zone

  • Platform language

  • Business email

  • Website URL

Upload Your Logo

Your logo will appear throughout different areas of the platform and client experience.

To upload your logo:

  1. Click the logo upload area

  2. Select your image

  3. Save your settings

Set Your Country & Currency

Your country settings help determine:

  • Default currency

  • Regional formatting

  • Some payment settings

You can still customize currency settings later in certain areas of the platform if needed.

Set Your Time Zone

Your time zone is especially important for:

  • Booking calendars

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Automations

  • Email timing

Make sure this is set correctly before creating your booking calendars.

Choose Your Platform Language

FEA Create supports multiple languages.

Your platform language controls the language shown inside your dashboard.

You can also set:

  • Outbound communication language

This affects some of the default system emails sent through the platform.

Add Your Business Website

You can also add:

  • Your website URL

  • Your business niche

  • Industry details

This helps personalize your account and certain platform features.

Branded Domain Settings

You can add a branded domain for:

  • Forms

  • Surveys

  • Booking calendars

This helps create a more professional branded experience instead of using the default FEA Create links.

This does not affect:

  • Your website domain

  • Funnels

  • Membership area

Those are customized separately.

API Key Access

If you need advanced integrations with tools like:

you can access your API key inside the settings area.

General Business Settings

Inside the business settings, you can also manage:

  • Duplicate contacts

  • Email verification

  • Hard bounce email handling

  • SMS settings

  • Missed call text back settings

These are general platform defaults for your account.

Step 3: Set Up Your Personal Profile

Next, open the My Profile section.

This is where you can update:

  • Your name

  • Profile image

  • Login email

  • Password

  • Email signature

Important Note About Your Login Email

If you change your email address here:

  • It changes your platform login email

  • It changes the default email used for communications

So make sure you update this carefully.

Add Your Email Signature

You can create an email signature that automatically appears on emails sent through FEA Create.

This helps keep your communication looking professional and branded.

Step 4: Connect Your Email Inbox

You can connect:

  • Google Workspace

  • Gmail

  • Outlook

for two-way email syncing.

This allows you to:

  • Send emails

  • Receive emails

  • Sync conversations

  • Manage communications inside FEA Create

Step 5: Connect Your Calendar

Inside the calendar settings, you can connect:

  • Google Calendar

  • Outlook Calendar

This creates a two-way sync between your personal calendar and your booking calendars.

This is important because it prevents double bookings by automatically blocking unavailable times.

Step 6: Set Up Video Conferencing

You can also connect:

  • Zoom

  • Google Meet

This allows meeting links to automatically generate inside your booking calendars.

You can also use:

  • Phone calls

  • Custom meeting links

if preferred.

Step 7: Set Your Availability

Inside your profile settings, make sure to set:

  • Your working days

  • Your available hours

This controls when people can book appointments with you.

If this is not configured correctly, your booking calendar may not show available appointment times.

Step 8: Configure Your Time Zone

Your time zone settings help FEA Create automatically convert appointment times for users in different countries.

For example:

  • If you’re in London

  • And your client is in New York

FEA Create will automatically show the correct appointment time for both users.

This creates a much smoother booking experience.

Final Tip

Your business profile settings are the foundation for many features inside FEA Create.

Once these are properly configured, everything from your booking calendars to your email marketing and automations will work much more smoothly 💕
