This allows you to create a personalized experience for new people discovering your brand, without needing to manually reply to every message.

Many business owners use DM automations to encourage followers to comment or send a message with a keyword like:

“Comment FRAMEWORK to learn more”

When someone comments that word, the automation immediately starts the conversation.

DM automations can help you:

Before creating your DM automations, make sure you have:

• An Instagram or Facebook page connected to your business
• Your FEA Create account ready
• The link or offer you want to send people to (such as a workshop page, email opt-in, or course)

You’ll also need to connect your social accounts to FEA Create before creating your automation.

First, connect your social accounts so FEA Create can access your messages.

A Facebook connection window will open.

Follow the prompts and select:

• The Facebook page you want to connect
• The Instagram account linked to that page

Once connected, FEA Create will have access to your Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger.

FEA Create already includes ready-made DM automation templates to help you get started quickly.

Inside, you’ll find templates for common campaigns such as:

• Sending people to a blog post or podcast
• Encouraging people to book a discovery call
• Offering a coupon for your shop
• Sharing information about courses or memberships
• Growing your email list

You can use these templates as they are or customize them for your business.

A DM Comment automation is triggered when someone comments on a specific Instagram post.

For example:

“Comment FRAMEWORK below and I’ll send you the guide.”

Set the following filters:

• Select the Instagram page
• Choose the post the automation applies to
• Set the keyword trigger

Example:

This means the automation will start whenever someone comments framework on that post.

Click Save Trigger.

Next, you can create a response that appears publicly under their comment.

For example:

“Just sent you a DM with the details!”

You can also add multiple response variations so the system rotates them and your replies feel more natural.

After the public comment response, you can send a private DM.

In this message you can include:

Once everything is ready:

Choose:

• Reply Channel: Instagram DM or Facebook Messenger
• Keyword Phrase

Example:

💡 Choose a keyword that is specific. Avoid common words like “hello” that people may send accidentally.

Click Save Trigger.

Next, customize the message that will be sent automatically.

You can include:

• A friendly welcome message
• A link to your content or offer
• Instructions on the next step

For example:

“Thanks for reaching out! Here’s the link to the guide we mentioned.”

Click Save and Publish the automation.

Once your automations are running, you can see all incoming messages in your Messages tab inside FEA Create.

If someone replies with a question that requires a personal response, you can jump in and continue the conversation manually.

This gives you the best of both worlds:

• Automation for the first response
• Personal conversation when needed
