You can use AI Studio in FEA Create to build a customised quiz for your audience, calculate their results and connect those results to automations in your CRM.
This guide will walk you through planning your quiz, building it with AI Studio, testing it and setting up automations based on the results.
Before you get started
Before building your quiz, it's helpful to have the following ready:
Your quiz questions and answers so AI Studio knows what to ask.
Your result categories, such as beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Your scoring system, including how each answer contributes to a particular result.
Your calls to action (CTAs) for each result, such as a recommended offer, resource or next step.
Your branding, including your brand colours and any images you'd like to include in your quiz.
There is a cost associated with using AI Studio. Full pricing details are available here.
You can use CarrieAI to help you craft your quiz questions. Once you're happy with your questions and scoring system, you can use ChatGPT or Claude to help you write a detailed prompt for AI Studio.
Step 1. Open AI Studio
Log in to your FEA Create dashboard.
Click AI Studio.
Describe the quiz you want to create in the prompt box.
For the best results, give AI Studio as much detail as possible about your questions, answer options, scoring system, result categories and what you want to happen when someone completes the quiz.
Tip: You can use ChatGPT or Claude to help you turn your quiz plan into a detailed prompt before adding it to AI Studio.
Step 2. Build your quiz
Enter your prompt into AI Studio and let it start building your quiz.
AI Studio may ask you some follow-up questions to clarify what you want to create. It may also ask whether you'd like to connect your quiz to the CRM.
You can also ask AI Studio to customise the design using your brand colours.
Want to include images?
You can upload images to include in your quiz by clicking the + icon in AI Studio and selecting the option to upload an image.
Once AI Studio has created your quiz, review the result and make any changes needed to get it looking and working the way you want.
Step 3. Test your quiz
Before setting up your automations, it's important to test your quiz thoroughly.
Go through the quiz as if you were one of your customers and check that:
All questions and answer options display correctly.
The scoring system calculates the correct result.
Each result category is assigned correctly.
Any calls to action display as expected.
The design looks good and matches your branding.
The overall experience works as you'd like it to for your audience.
Try different combinations of answers to make sure each possible result works correctly.
Once you're happy with your quiz, save your changes.
Step 4. Create an automation for quiz submissions
You can use workflows in FEA Create to take action when someone completes your quiz.
For example, you could send yourself a notification, add a tag to the contact, send them a follow-up email or add them to a relevant nurture sequence.
To get started:
Go to Automation in your FEA Create dashboard.
Create a new workflow.
Select Start from Scratch.
Add the trigger AI Studio Form Submitted.
Add the filter AI Studio Form Is and select the name of your quiz.
This means the workflow will run when someone submits the selected quiz.
Step 5. Add an internal notification (optional)
If you'd like to be notified when someone completes your quiz, you can add an internal notification to your workflow.
Add an Internal Notification action.
Write the message you'd like to receive.
For example:
Contact Name has completed the quiz.
You can personalise the notification using custom values. Click the tag icon to access the available values, including the contact's full name and email address.
You can also include the custom field that stores their quiz result, if available.
Step 6. Create branches based on quiz results
You can use an If/Else action to create different paths in your workflow depending on someone's quiz result.
For example, if your quiz identifies different types of runners, you could create separate branches for social runners, solo runners and competitive runners.
To set this up:
Click the + icon to add a workflow action.
Select If/Else.
Choose the contact's custom field that stores the quiz result.
Set the condition to match the relevant result.
Add a branch for each of your other result categories.
For example, if your custom field is called Runner Type, you could create a branch where Runner Type equals Social Runner, then add further branches for your other results.
If you're unsure which custom field AI Studio uses to store the quiz result, ask AI Studio to confirm the field name for your workflow.
Once you've added your branches, save the action and check that each result has its own path.
Step 7. Choose what happens next
Now you can customise each branch to suit the result someone receives.
For example, you could:
Add a tag to identify their quiz result.
Send a personalised email with their result and a relevant call to action.
Add them to another workflow, such as a beginner or advanced nurture sequence.
Recommend a relevant offer or resource based on their answers.
You can combine these actions to create a personalised experience for each person who completes your quiz.
Once you're happy with your workflow, save and publish it.
Step 8. Publish your quiz
When your quiz and any related automations are ready:
Go back to AI Studio.
Open your quiz.
Click Publish.
Follow the instructions to make your quiz available to your audience.
If you'd like to connect a subdomain domain to your quiz, click add Custom Domain and add the DNS record.
Your quiz is now ready to share with your audience!
You're ready to go!
With AI Studio and FEA Create workflows, you can create a quiz that does more than collect answers. You can use the results to personalise follow-up emails, organise your contacts and guide people towards the offers and resources most relevant to them.
