You can create and send contracts directly from FEA Create. Whether you need to send a one-off agreement or have a contract you use regularly, you can create your own documents, add signature fields and even collect payments directly through the contract.
You can also save contracts as templates to make sending them to future clients much quicker.
Accessing Documents & Contracts
To get started:
Here you'll find your documents and contracts, where you can create new ones or work with existing documents.
You have two options when creating contracts:
Create a new document: Start from scratch and build your contract.
Use a template: Create a reusable contract that you can send to different people.
Creating a New Contract
To create a new contract:
Click New in the top-right corner.
Select New Document.
This will open the document editor, where you can start building your contract.
Give your document a name by clicking on the title at the top of the page. Choose something that will help you recognise it later, such as Client Service Agreement or Coaching Contract.
Adding Content to Your Contract
You can customise your contract by adding different elements to the page.
Simply choose the elements you want to include and add them to your document.
Some of the available elements include:
Text: Add your contract wording, terms and conditions or any other information.
Images: Add your logo or other images to your contract.
Signature fields: Give the recipient a place to sign the contract.
Text fields: Allow the recipient to fill in information.
Date fields: Add a space for dates to be entered.
You can also add more pages to your contract by clicking the + icon in the page section.
Take your time to arrange everything so your contract looks exactly how you'd like it.
Adding Payments to Your Contract
If you'd like to collect payment as part of your contract, you can add payment elements.
This allows you to include payment options within the document, such as:
Direct payment: Allow the recipient to make a payment when signing the contract.
Automatic payment: Set up an automatic payment arrangement.
This is particularly useful if you're sending a service agreement alongside a payment arrangement.
Customising Your Contract Email
Before sending your contract, you can customise the email your recipient will receive.
You can:
Change the email subject line.
Add attachments to the contract email.
This is a great opportunity to make sure your email is clear and lets the recipient know what they're being asked to sign.
Saving Your Contract as a Template
If you plan to use the same contract regularly, you don't need to create it from scratch every time!
You can save it as a template and reuse it whenever you need to.
To do this:
Open your contract in the document editor.
Click the three dots at the top of the page.
Select Convert to Template.
Your contract will now be available as a template.
When you're ready to use it again, simply go to Documents & Contracts, find your template and open it. You can then send it to your next client.
Top tip: Templates are perfect for contracts you send regularly, such as coaching agreements, client onboarding documents or service agreements.
Sending Your Contract
Once your contract is ready, you can send it directly to someone.
Open the contract you want to send.
Go to the Recipients section.
Add the person you want to send the contract to.
Check that your contract is ready and all the necessary fields have been added.
Click Send when you're ready.
Your recipient will receive an email with a link to open and complete the contract.
You can also add an expiry date to your contract using the three-dot menu if you'd like it to expire after a certain date.
Sending Contracts Automatically Using Workflows
You don't always have to send contracts manually. You can also use workflows to send contracts automatically when someone takes a particular action.
For example, you could automatically send a contract when someone purchases one of your offers.
To set this up:
Go to Automation and open the workflow you want to use.
Choose the point in your workflow where you'd like the contract to be sent.
Click to add an action.
Search for and select Send Contract.
Choose the contract you want to send and configure the action.
Once your workflow is switched on, FEA Create can send the contract automatically when someone reaches that step in your workflow.
This is a great way to include contracts in your client onboarding process without having to remember to send them yourself!
Public Documents
You can also create public documents that people can access without you needing to send each one individually.
