Why Use the Newsletter Signup Page?
If you want to grow your email list fast, this template is a brilliant option. It lets you introduce yourself, share what your newsletter is all about, and invite people to join your VIP list all in one simple, beautiful page.
You can share it:
In your link-in-bio
On social media posts
In your blog posts
Anywhere you want to send people to sign up
The best part? It's quick to set up and ready to go in just a few steps.
Before You Get Started
Make sure you have already connected your domain and set up your email marketing inside FEA Create. You'll need these in place before you can publish and send.
Step 1: Find Your Newsletter Signup Template
Head to your FEA Create dashboard and click into Websites and Funnels.
Look for the folder called Newsletter Optin. Inside, you'll find the template available in five different themes. Simply pick the one that feels most on-brand for you.
Once you've found the one you love, click on the funnel to open it.
Tip: If you'd like to keep the original template untouched, you have the option to clone it before editing.
Step 2: Open the Page Editor
Click Edit to open the page in a new tab.
When the editor opens, you'll notice an instruction section at the top of the page. This is there for you whenever you need it. It includes:
A link to this tutorial
A brand guide for your chosen theme
Once you've had a look, you can hide this section by clicking on the green box, going to Styles, and unticking both the computer and phone visibility options. That way it's hidden from your live page but still there if you ever need it.
Step 3: Customize Your Page
Here's what to update:
Your Logo Click on the Business Name image placeholder and upload your logo from your media library.
Your VIP List Name Replace the placeholder text with the name of your VIP list. Not sure what to call it? Ask Carrie AI — she can help you come up with something that feels right for your brand and your audience.
Your Image Click on the purple image box and upload your chosen photo from your media storage library.
Your About Section There's a space to add a little bit about you. Keep it warm and personal — this is a great opportunity to connect with new subscribers before they even sign up.
Testimonials Add any testimonials you have to build trust with your visitors. If there are sections you don't need right now, simply select them and hide them — you can always bring them back later.
Your Footer Scroll down to the footer to:
Add links to your social media profiles
Update your business name
Add a link to your privacy policy and terms and conditions
Step 4: Set Up Your Signup Form
Click on the form in the orange box and select Edit Form.
From here you can:
Add or remove fields
Change the button colour
Customise the confirmation message
Click on Settings inside the form editor to update the message that appears after someone signs up. Instead of redirecting to a thank you page, the form will simply disappear and show your message. The default reads: "Thanks for joining the VIP list. I'll be sending you updates soon." Feel free to make this your own!
Once you're happy with everything, click Save and close the form editor.
Step 5: Save and Publish Your Page
When your page is looking exactly how you want it, click Save and then Publish.
Select your domain from the options, click Save, and your page will be live. You'll get the link you can start sharing with your audience straight away.
Step 6: Set Up Your Newsletter Signup Automation
Head over to the Automations tab and open the Lead Gen Automations folder.
You'll see a workflow called Newsletter Signup — click on it to open the workflow builder.
This workflow is already set up to:
Tag anyone who signs up with the newsletter tag
Send them a confirmation email automatically
The only thing you need to do is edit the confirmation email. Everything else can stay exactly as it is.
Click on the confirmation email step and fill in:
Your name
Your business email address
Your subject line
Then click the three dots and select Edit Design to update the email itself. Inside you'll find:
A Canva template link for your email header
An AI prompt to help you write the email content
Once you've added your image and written your content, click Save. Then remember to save the workflow too and click Publish.
Step 7: Send Your Weekly Newsletter
Once your signup page is live and your automation is running, it's time to start sending newsletters to your growing list.
To send a newsletter from FEA Create:
Go to the Social Media and Email tab
Click on Emails, then Campaigns
Select Create Campaign
Search for Newsletter and select the Newsletter and Nurture template
Click the tick box to select it
Inside the template you'll find:
A Canva template for your header image
AI prompts for different types of newsletters — simply pick the one that fits what you want to send and let it help you create your content
When you're ready to send or schedule:
Add your sender name and email address
Add your subject line
Under Recipients, select Tags and choose Lead Newsletter — this will send your newsletter to everyone who has signed up through your page
If scheduling in advance, you'll see an Advanced Conditions option asking whether contacts who sign up between now and the send date should be included. It's usually best to select Yes so no one misses out
You can also turn on click tracking, UTM tracking, and the option to resend to people who didn't open. These are completely optional but great to explore as you get more comfortable.
Once everything looks good, click Review and Schedule.
Note: Make sure your email marketing is switched on and your email address is verified before sending. You'll also need at least one recipient tagged before the platform will allow you to schedule.
