How Can I Use Free Communities?

Using Free Community Groups for Lead Generation in FEA Create

Free community groups in FEA Create are a wonderful way to bring people together and grow your audience. You can use them to create a space where people can interact, share, and connect with your content without needing to purchase anything.

Step 1: Create a Community Group

Log in to your FEA Create dashboard and go to Create Your Offer, then Communities, then Groups. Create a new community, or open an existing group if you’ve already made one.

Step 2: Create and Set Up Your Free Group

  1. Open your group and click the Settings tab at the top.

  2. Select Subscriptions from the menu on the left.

  3. Turn on Make this community free.

That's it! People can now join your group without needing to buy anything.

Good to know: If you've already set up paid plans for this group, they'll be paused while Make this community free is turned on.

You can also add a name and description in Details, and add channels or discussion areas to make your group inviting and easy to use.

Step 3: Get the Group Link

Go to the Settings tab in your group, then Details. Click Copy next to your Group URL. This is the link you'll use to invite people to join your group.

Step 4: Share the Group Link

You can share your group link in lots of different places:

  • Instagram: Add the link to your bio or use it in a story.

  • Email campaigns: Invite people to join your free community.

  • Website or funnel: Add a button or link so people can easily sign up.

Step 5: What Happens When Someone Clicks the Link?

When someone clicks the group link, they’ll be taken to a sign-up screen where they can create an account. They’ll enter their name, email, and a password. You can customise this page by updating your Client Portal settings.

If you've turned on Google sign-up & login in your App Permissions, people can also join with their Google account in one click. Find out more here.

Step 6: How Users Access the Group

After registering, they’ll be taken straight into your community group. They’ll only have access to this specific group, not to your courses, affiliate area, or other parts of your site.

They'll land on the group's Discussion tab, where they can see the latest posts and join in.

Step 7: How Users Interact

Inside the group, people can join conversations, reply to posts, react with emojis, create their own posts, take part in events and send private messages to other members. It's a great way for people to get to know you and your work.

Free community groups are a lovely way to build connection and trust. They’re perfect for welcoming new people into your world and starting that relationship without needing them to buy anything first.
